For the first time in three years, the Capitol Centre has booked a full season of live performances and events for the 2022- 23 season. The past few years were a combination of free online performances, limited in-person events, and ticketed live-streamed shows.

The new 2022-23 season is back to all in-person shows, some with live stream options.

Some of the highlighted events include AC/DC and Elvis tribute shows in late June, with the Legendary Downchild Blues Band coming on September 1 as part of Bluesfest 2022.

The Sheepdogs will perform at the Capitol Centre on September 24 and April Wine will take the stage on November 2.

Well known Canadian comedian Shawn Majumder will be putting on a show on November 23.

“Every year we’re excited to announce a new line-up of events but this year hits differently considering the drought the entertainment industry experienced,” said Katina Connolly, Executive Director of the Capitol Centre.

“I can tell you that artists, technical crews, and other industry professionals are eager to share their talents, so we can’t wait to welcome everyone back with a full season of in-person shows and events!”

“This new season is all about renewing the joy of being together in the theatre and enjoying the sights and sounds of truly great live performances!  We’ve curated high quality shows for every taste and budget. And we’re extremely thrilled to bring acts to North Bay that you cannot find anywhere else in the region!” says Dan Misturada, Director of Programming and Events.

Mask-wearing is not required, but anyone who is more comfortable wearing a mask is most welcome to do so.
