The North Bay and District Canadian Club will be selling tickets at the North Bay Mall for the Dec 6th luncheon meeting at the Davedi Club.
The North Bay and District Canadian Club will welcome Conrad Boyce as he presents an afternoon with “The Bard of the North” and the poems of Canada’s own Robert W. Service at their next meeting Thursday December 6th.
The meeting is a luncheon event to be held at the Davedi Club and members will be selling tickets November 28th from 1 – 4 pm at Mayne Travel, Northgate Square and again on November 30th from 1 – 4 pm.
Conrad is an actor, writer, and journalist who was born in Alberta but spent 17 years in the Yukon, many of them in the capital, Dawson City that was the centre of the Klondike Gold Rush.
Robert W. Service is the author of "The Cremation of Sam McGee", and "The Shooting of Dan McGrew". Conrad will recite many of Service's hilarious ballads and passionate lyrics set in the Yukon.
