Callander impresses with lights parade & gigantic fireworks

The town of Callander showed its community spirit as hundreds turned out to view the Parade of Lights and giant fireworks display at the waterfront last night. Many others from surrounding communities joined the celebrations.

Plenty of ooohs and ahhhs as the fireworks peppered the night sky, lit by the town's volunteer fire department. The group took a deep bow to applause and shouts of appreciation.

The display capped off a successful Canada Day Funfest.
