The City of North Bay has been cleaning up brush from the ‘Wind Storm’ of July 17th, 2006. Because of that the Public Works Department has been falling behind in other duties such as ditching, installing culverts, lawn restoration and sidewalk restoration work. We will eventually have to get back to these much-needed activities.

Therefore we wish to inform all our citizens that no additional branches should be brought to the curb as of tomorrow August 11th.

We have reopened a brush drop off site at the East end of Marshall Avenue beside the Fire Station, which shall remain open until the end of September 2006.

Brush can also be brought to the City Landfill Site at no cost. Our crews are working very hard at cleaning up the brush so would ask for your patience, as there is a lot of work still to be done.
