City police have charged a Huntsville man with assault with a weapon, after an attack in a private home Monday.
Police responded to a report that a man had visited the victim’s residence and assaulted the occupant using a set of brass knuckles.
Police found the man at a home on Lakeshore Drive where he was arrested.
Jaden Saunders, 22, of Huntsville is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
Police say the victim and accused are known to each another.
Saunders was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
