OPP are reporting that a three-month investigation has led to the arrest of four men suspected of distributing large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine in West Nipissing.
At the conclusion of the investigation, dubbed Project Bendigo, two search warrants were executed with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Community Street Crime Unit and the West Nipissing Police Service according to a release.
A substantial amount of suspected fentanyl pills, several thousand suspected methamphetamine tablets, six long guns and a credit card making device with several hundred blank credit cards and blank smart cards was seized. The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $162,600.
As a result of the investigation, the following people have been charged:
Keith McKee, 21 of Field,
- Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking,
- Possession of Credit Card Instruments,
He has been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
Jonathan Rivest, 33 of Terre-Bonne, Quebec

He has been remanded in custody pending a bail hearing.
Yves Brosseau, 29 of Field,
- Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking,
