OPP say they have made one arrest, but are searching for a second suspect after a break-in at the Minnehaha Bay Marina in Sturgeon Falls July 18.
Late that night police responded to a complaint of suspicious people at the marina.
"Upon arrival, officers found the restaurant had been broken into and observed two suspects running away from the scene," says Constable Michelle Coulombe. "Officers were able to apprehend one suspect. The OPP Canine Unit assisted in the search of the second suspect."
Dylan Hunter Lee, 19, from Sturgeon Falls is charged with:
- Break, enter a place - commit an indictable offence, and
- Mischief-destroys or damages property.
Lee was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sturgeon Falls on September 5.
Meanwhile, the investigation revealed the identity of the second suspect and an arrest warrant is being sought.
