Argument leads to assault charges

On the 18th of April during the evening hours it is alleged that a small group of people attended a residence within the city and attempted to get some belongings.
An argument ensued and it is alleged that a man then pulled a knife, slashed at a male victim and threatened him with bodily harm.

It is also alleged that a female attacked a resident with a piece of wood and flashlight as well as broke a window.
Officers of the North Bay Police responded and to arrested the attackers on Trout Lake Road..

Joseph FILLION 54 years old of Fisher St. is charged with Assault With a Weapon and Uttering Threats. He is to appear in court at a later date.

Laura DEROCHE 31 years old also of Fisher St. is charged with Assault With a Weapon and Mischief. She is to attend court at a later date.
