The rotating teachers' strikes continue today with all area schools closed to students.
The Near North Board says because OSSTF members also work in elementary schools, all of their schools are closed to students today with the rotating strike impacting the board.
There’s also province-wide strikes involving Ontario English Catholic teachers and teachers in the French-language system, so those local boards have closed their schools too.
OSSTF/FEESO president Harvy Bischof will join area teachers on the picket line this morning in North Bay in front of Chippewa Secondary Schoool and Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli's office.
