North Bay Country Artist is starting the new year in style by releasing his fourth new single of his first album “This Man” which was released last May.
The song and Music Video is called “Nowhere with you” and hit country radio on Tuesday.
“This new single is an upbeat summertime,feel good sing along,” Marquardt told BayToday.ca.
“It talks about just getting away with that special someone and not really having a set plan or destination. Simply being young,wild and free.”
Marquardt says he’s excited about the new single and music video.
“The video was shot in Toronto by Dan LeMoyne,” he said.
“He was great to work with and got some really cool shots. My dog Emma is also featured in the video which was a lot of fun and it's cool to see her on the big screen with me. Olivia, who plays the ‘love’ interest, was also great to work with and looks stunning in this video!”
Marquardt expects 2016 to be a very busy year after Tuesday’s release.
He’s trying to finalize a deal with high profile rock producer Kevin Churko, who has produced and worked with artists such as Shania Twain and Ozzy Osborne.
“I'll be working with him out of Las Vegas and making trips to Nashville as well to write and create some new music,” said Marquardt.
“New festivals and shows are being added to my schedule every week and I can't wait to start performing again!”
