City police have arrested a North Bay woman in connection with that shooting death of Abraham Kamerman December 5 in the Pinewood area.
On December 20, Marina Lafontaine, 31, was arrested and charged with:
- Conspiracy to commit the indictable offence of robbery and
- Attempted robbery.
Police say these charges have been laid as a result of the investigation implicating her involvement in the robbery that led to Kamerman's murder.
Following Lafontaine’s arrest, she was held in custody. She will make her next court appearance tomorrow in the North Bay Courthouse.
Dec. 8, 26-year-old Ryan Abraham was arrested for second-degree murder.

Detective Sergeant Warner of the North Bay Police Criminal Investigation Section says the investigative team continues to conduct interviews and following up on information.
"The investigators continue to seek any information regarding the activities of the accused Ryan Abraham and Taylor Briscoe following the December 5 homicide. Investigators are particularly interested in Ryan Abraham’s method of travel to the London area where he was arrested."
A neighbour told BayToday it was only a matter of time before something happened at the residence on the corner of Beattie Street and Vimy Street saying it was the scene of a multiple stabbing incident a few years ago and it is a well-known drug house.
