Animals lost in barn fire

Reports indicate that a Callander family lost five animals following a large barn fire Thursday morning. Our friends at CKAT news are reporting that the fire call on Wookey Road came in at about 1am.

Reports indicate that a Callander family lost five animals following a large barn fire Thursday morning.

Our friends at CKAT news are reporting that the fire call on Wookey Road came in at about 1am. Callander fire crews arrived to the 40 by 80 foot barn fully involved. Crews shuttled water to the scene from the Wasi River. Sadly Four horses and a dog died in the blaze.

The cause is believed to be electrical.
