Police saud a male transport truck driver engaged in an altercation with two Pro North employees, becoming physically abusive and threatening the two victims with death.

Cst. Mervin Shantz and Cst. Marc Ethier arrived and arrested a 29-year-old Scarborough man.

Ryan Patrick Dove, 21 Ellie Drive, has been charged with two counts of assault and two counts of threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in court March 28.

In the second incident, constables Bruce Whitehead and Alain Bedard investigated an assault, which occurred at a North Bay residence.

A male victim attended at the accused at his McIntyre Street West residence to pick up some of his property.

Once at the apartment, the victim was accused of theft, and the accused male punched the victim in the face, threw him around, began to choke him, then threatened to kill him.

The victim then left the apartment. Police arrested the accused at his residence at 10:34 p.m. Feb 16.

David Missabie, 45-years old, is charged with assault, threatening death, forcible confinement, and breach of probation. Missabie was held for a bail hearing today.
