The heavy snowfall is not making driving conditions in the North Bay area very good.
Police and the Fire Department responded to an accident around 9:20 Saturday morning which involved a pair of vehicles with one veering into a snowbank causing some damage to the front end of the vehicle.
The accident took place on Algonquin Avenue by the High Street intersection at the top of the hill.
One of the drivers involved told BayToday that the driving conditions were extremely slippery at the time of the crash.
No one was hurt but shortly after the first accident, a van trying to slow down was rear-ended on the slippery stretch of road.
Police and Fire had the southbound lane closed off to traffic while they waited for a tow truck to arrive.
