Big day today as it will mark the end of an era in the storied history of Iroquois Falls.
As a tribute to all the people that made the Abitibi Mill operate for almost 100 years to the day a group of former employees and citizens will meet outside of Mill property during the day.
Those attending are encouraged to carry placards bearing the name of their fathers, grandfathers, a neighbour, or a friend who was an employee.
Pictures will be taken of the family and friends who want to show their respect for the people that made the town prosper for almost a century.
Organizers are asking that there be no alcohol and no attitude.
