33-year old North Bay woman charged with drugs and weapons offenses

A 33-year old North Bay woman faces drug and weapons charges after being arrested by North Bay police.

The arrest was made on August 10 outside a downtown business in the 300-block of Main Street West.

A search by police revealed significant amounts of controlled substances, as well as cash and suspected drug trafficking materials.

Police seized:

  • Approximately 35 grams of suspected Fentanyl with an estimated street value of approximately $14,360
  • Approximately $10,670 in cash
  • Suspected drug trafficking materials
  • A push dagger, which is a prohibited weapon.

Crystal Lee Rose Trecartin, 33, of North Bay, is charged with:

  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon

Trecartin is in custody pending a hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.

Members of the NBPS Street Crime Unit, Criminal Investigation Section, and patrol assisted in the arrest.
