The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 21-year-old male with robbery.
On July 4, 2023, North Bay Police say the accused attended a business in the 800 block of McKeown Avenue in North Bay.
While in the business, the police say the accused gathered goods belonging to the business and attempted to leave without paying for them.
"When confronted by an employee of the business the accused pushed and headbutted the victim," a North Bay Police release stated.
Police add the victim sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries as a result.
Members of the North Bay Police Service located the accused a short distance from the location and placed him under arrest.
The accused in this matter is Galen Hunter Williams, male, age 21, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Robbery with Violence
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
