In the chilling second chapter of this weeks horror feature 'Gifted,' Harmon Bradley and his guide Garmin find themselves embroiled in horror as they exit the tent of the mysterious Shaman. Titled “Crescent Blade Sickness” the chapter finds the residents of the mountain village assaulting Harmon and Garmin's weary helicopter pilot who has cracked under the pressure. Gun shots and haunting moans carried by the wind set a spine-chilling atmosphere as both men hurry toward a scene of grizzly chaos.
The villagers begin to swarm their helicopter, leading to a tense confrontation. Amidst the chaos Garmin gets separated from his charge and Harmon comes face to face with the Shaman, who urges him once more to take the mysterious child. Harmon's refusal causes a fight where he is injured by the Shamans curved blade, leaving a wound that is deeper than simply flesh alone.
Harmon's quest for his white wolf may end before it even begins as his only ride off the mountain leaves him and Garmin stranded in chaos. However just as soon as it begins, the horror ends, with the Shaman no where to be seen. With their supplies in tow both men head toward a hidden pathway that leads further into the mountains. Their only guide is a hope that the wolf they seek is beyond it's borders.
“Crescent Blade Sickness” is a chapter filled with suspense and horror, where every moment is a struggle for survival. This chapter builds on the horror and tension from chapter one: The Bone Crib and drops today at 3pm. Don't miss it.
