THIRTEEN-YEAR OLD HAD PELLET PISTOL On Feb. 18 it is alleged that a 13-year-old boy brought a pellet pistol to his senior grade school in North Bay. At this time he shot and broke a mirror within the school.

On Feb. 18 it is alleged that a 13-year-old boy brought a pellet pistol to his senior grade school in North Bay. At this time he shot and broke a mirror within the school.

On his way home he shot at and broke a car window and also pointed the gun at a group of students.

On the 22nd of Feb. Cst. Paul Trahan of the school liaison unit for the North Bay Police Service arrested the youth in question and seized the weapon.

He is charged with Point Firearm, Weapon Dangerous, Carry Concealed Weapon and 2 counts of Mischief. He is scheduled to attend court on the 30th of March.

POLICE FIND ASAULTED MAN
On Feb. 22 shortly after midnight Cst. Roger Drolet and Bruce Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service attended the 500 block of McIntyre Sreet E and located a man lying on the street. He had suffered serious cuts to his head. He was brought to the hospital where he was treated. The investigation continues.

CLERK FIGHTS BACK
On Feb. 23 shortly after 3 AM a man walked into the Mac's
Convenience store in the 600 block of Main St. E. At this time it is alleged that the man carried a baseball bat and demanded money of the lone clerk. As the clerk was getting the cash, the robber attacked the clerk. This male clerk then began to defend himself with a pipe and eventually subdued the robber. Cst. Bruce Whitehead and other officers of the North Bay Police Service were called and attended, and took over the arrest by the clerk. The officers brought the robber to hospital where he began to yell at staff and
eventually was evicted. He was then brought to the Police station where he now remains.

Robert HUSBANDS, 28, of no fixed address, is charged with robbery, disguise with intent and causing a disturbance. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.


BREAK AND ENTER
On Feb. 22 between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM thieves entered a home in the 900 block of Morin Street via a basement window. They stole a Playstation computer game, lava lamps, a Sanyo DVD player and a quantity of DVDs
