Ontario Provincial Police have charged one person with impaired driving.
On October 26 at 11:25 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a single-vehicle accident on Boundary Road, Perry Township.
Through investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to a nearby detachment for further testing.
Isaac Fitz, 21, of North Bay is charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Careless driving
Fitz was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 14 in Sundridge.
The accused was also issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
