A 25-year-old man expressed his displeasure at being arrested by OPP by peeing on his cell floor and "wiping nose mucus on the walls" of his cell yesterday in Thessalon.
At 1:50 a.m., the East Algoma OPP responded to a disturbance at a tavern in the town.
Police found a man had been kicked out of the tavern and was banging on the door. While police were arriving the person had broken the glass on the door and was trying to re-enter the bar, before leaving.
Police arrested an intoxicated man on Main Street at 2:10 a.m. and took him to the Thessalon detachment where he was kept until until sober.
"While lodged, the accused urinated on the cell floor and wiped nose mucus on the walls," reports Constable Bev Gauthier.
Gunnar Sales, 25. from Otterville, near Brantford, is charged with two counts of mischief, damages property and being intoxicated in public place.
Sales is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on December 5.
