WOMAN RESISTS On the 13th of Aug. a woman attended a downtown haircutting establishment. At this time it is alleged that she attempted to steal some products and was confronted by an employee.

On the 13th of Aug. a woman attended a downtown haircutting establishment.

At this time it is alleged that she attempted to steal some products and was confronted by an employee.

This woman then allegedly pushed the employee out of the way and ran off.

Constables Steve Trahan and Al Bedard of the North Bay Police Service attended the general area and located a woman nearby.

She fought them as the officers attempted to arrest her and drew blood from one of them.

Nicolle PEEL, 31, of McIntyre Street E, is charged with assault, assaulting police, theft under $5000, and possession of a marijuana. She was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST
On Aug. 13 shortly after 11 PM, constables Dan Robertson and Ross Lingley of the North Bay Police Service stopped a vehicle on Lakeshore Drive.

This vehicle proved to have been stolen earlier.
Shannon Elizabeth KELLY, 18, of no fixed address, is charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5000.

She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

FAILS TO UNDERSTAND
On Aug. 15 at 3:30 AM, constables Vicky Thisdelle and Dave Wilson of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male in relation to continued harassment against a female.

This male had been previously charged with harassing this
same female and had been released on conditions not to bother her again.

He allegedly called her numerous times since then. Police were called and investigated.

Brandon PADDON, 20, of Blair Street, is charged with criminal harassment and breach of an undertaking. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.

SOCCER VIOLENCE
On Aug. 14 an argument ensued after a soccer game within the city of North Bay. It is alleged that one male took a stone and chased another male, threatening him harm.

Constables Jim Kilroy and Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police Service attended and arrested a male in relation to this incident.

Admir FERNANDES, 21, of Ski Club Road is charged with assault with a weapon. He is to attend court at a later date.


THREE IMPAIRED DRIVERS
During this past weekend officers of the North Bay Police Service on regular duties arrested three impaired drivers within the city.
