Police have charged two drivers after vehicles raced each other on Highway 69 early Friday morning.
On January 3, shortly before 3:30 a.m., Nipissing West OPP responded to a traffic complaint of two vehicles racing northbound on 69 toward Sudbury.
The two were travelling at 188 kilometres per hour in a posted 90 zone when stopped by police.
A 21 and a 23-year-old, both from Sudbury, were each charged with stunt driving - excessive speed. Police did not release names.
Both are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on February 4 in Sudbury.
Both drivers were issued a 30-day Driver's Licence Suspension and the vehicles were impounded for 14 days.
