Here's who's running in Timiskaming-Cochrane

The provincial election campaign is now in full swing.

Ontario’s election officially starts today (Jan. 29). Election day is on Feb. 27.

While it's the early days of the campaign, here's a look at who's running in Timiskaming-Cochrane where three candidates are on the ballot so far. The riding includes the Municipality of West Nipissing,

Tory Delaurier was acclaimed as the Progressive Conservative candidate for Timiskaming-Cochrane last month. He is currently the Iroquois Falls mayor.

Veteran NDP MPP John Vanthof was nominated in September to run for the party again. He was first elected in 2011. 

Vanthof is currently the Opposition House Leader at Queen's Park, and is also the NDP critic for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. 

West Nipissing Coun. Kris Rivard is the Green Party candidate in the riding and is employed by the North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority in North Bay.

The Liberals have not named candidates yet.
