Vrebosch: 'Not the results we were looking for'

Trailing in third place, Liberal candidate Tanya Vrebosch spoke to her supporters at the West Ferris Legion.

A few dozen supporters cheered Vrebosch's arrival at the Legion.

"Not the results we were looking for," Vrebosch graciously told the crowd as she thanked family, friends and volunteers.

"I am who I am because of my parents," she said.

"We have revived the Ontario Liberal Party in Nipissing."

However, Liberal leader Steven Del Duca has lost his own seat by a large margin.

At Fedeli's HQ, a cheer came out when it was announced Andrea Horwath is the official opposition and another big cheer when it was announced Del Duca lost in his own riding

About 30 suppprters here so far reports BayToday's Chris Dawson.

The was another big cheer when Fedeli was announced the winner.

One supporter exclaimed, “not even close!”

Fedeli arrived at 9:50.

NDP candidate Erik Lougheed has not yet arrived at her post-election site.

"Three ladies are at the table next to me, in the back room of Lou Dawgs," says BayToday reporter Dave Briggs."There are about 25 people here now, wildly cheering when a northern NDP candidate edges ahead, no Erika, she is expected to arrive around 10ish."
