The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit reports six new COVID cases Today, bringing to 576 the total number since the start of the pandemic.

There are 77 active cases, 73 in Nipissing. Seven people remain in hospital.

The region has reached 73 per cent of adults with at least one dose, and 27 per cent fully vaccinated.

With more than 76 per cent of Ontarian adults having received a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and over 30 per cent fully immunized, Ontario is accelerating second dose eligibility to all individuals aged 18 and over across the province.

The Sudbury Health Unit reports six new cases and 40 active cases.

The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit reports 12 new cases and 101 active cases.
