Chippewa Terry Fox Run full of fun fundraising events

Chippewa officials estimate more than $12,000 was raised for the run.

Chippewa's 20th Terry Fox Run was a grand success on Thursday.

Chippewa officials estimate more than $12,000 was raised for the run.

Chippewa students also got to participate in a spirited pep rally and enjoy a fundraising BBQ lunch.

During the pep rally, several teacher challenges were met, including some unlucky teachers being pied in the face and having their beards shaved for the worthy cause.

Top fundraising class was Madame Hebert's 8-I class and top fundraiser was Molly MacDonald who raised $615.00 for the run!

Chippewa would like to thank Alan & Michelle's No Frill's on McKeown for their generous donation to Chippewa's Terry Fox BBQ.
