FALSE REPORT TO POLICE
On March 4 during the evening hours Cst. Marc Ethier and Cst. Vincent Corrente of the North Bay Police Service received a complaint of an alleged robbery. The officers conducted their investigation and concluded that in fact this information was false.

Heather RENAUD, 34, of Delaware Avenue, and Scott Patrick WARNER, 36, also of Delaware Avenue, are both charged with Public Mischief and are to attend court on May 3.



TWELVE-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED
On March 6 Cst. Bill Gainforth of the North Bay Police Service attended a North Bay residence in regards to an alleged assault. A 12-year old released on previous conditions after assaulting his brother had allegedly struck his sibling once again, only this time with a metal spade. The boy was arrested for breach of an undertaking and assault with a weapon. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD CHARGED
Cst. Vicky Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service has charged a 17-year-old male in relation to the assault incident that occurred last week near Memorial Gardens. The youth is charged with aggravated assault and is to attend court April 6. The male victim had been struck several times in the face and suffered a broken jaw (two locations) and was eventually taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

STREET ASSAULT
On March 6 at approximately 2:30 AM Cst. Tanya Whitford and Cst. Melanie Prevost of the North Bay Police Service attended a downtown location in regards to an altercation that had occurred.

A male adult had allegedly punched a 16-year-old male, causing him to fall to the sidewalk unconscious. This assailant then allegedly kicked the victim in the head. The victim was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries. Kevin LEIS, 21, of Eagle Lake Road in South River, is charged with assault causing bodily harm.

MAN THREATENS WOMAN
On March 6 during the afternoon hours a man in the city of North Bay approached a woman known to him and threatened her. The man had previously been charged with an offence and released on conditions not to associate in any way with her. Cst. Steve Taylor and Cst. Steve Trahan of the North Bay Police Service arrested the man in question. Emil ILIESCU, 46, of Main Street E, is charged with criminal harassment and three counts of breach of undertaking. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD BOY THREATENS MOTHER
On March 6 during the afternoon hours it is alleged that a 14-year-old boy allegedly threatened his mother with a large knife. He then grabbed her and pushed her out of the way. Cst. Helene Boissonneault and Cst. Walter Neeley of the North Bay Police Service attended the residence in question and arrested the youth.

He is charged with breach of probation, threatening, assault and weapons dangerous. He was kept in custody a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER
Overnight on March 5 thieves broke into a vacant apartment in the 800 block of McIntyre Street E. Once inside it appears that they had a party. There was damage to windows and drywall throughout the apartment. There is approximately $2500 in damage.
