A new Giant Tiger store is opening up on Saturday at the new location on the north end of the city.
According to CKAT, signage posted inside the store, which is next to Sobey’s on Algonquin, states they will be open from 8 am to 9:30 pm.
Back in January, the company announced the new 18,000 square foot store was targeted to open at the end of July.
It’s the second time this week that there will be a grand opening in that area.
Earlier this week Taco Bell opened its new restaurant on Champlain Street, next to Starbucks.
Giant Tiger’s store on Lakeshore opened back in April 2013.
