A new Burger King restaurant is getting close to opening.
Site work started in October of 2019 on the new Burger King restaurant located on Pinewood Park Drive next to the new casino site and the PetroCanada station.
Local Burger King officials will only say the new restaurant is "opening soon."
However, hiring has already started at the restaurant including the general manager position which has been filled.

Burger King will share the parking lot with Subway and Tim Horton's franchises.
Burger King used to have a restaurant on Lakeshore Drive, now the site of a CUPE office, but closed more than 10 years ago.
