Huntsville man arrested in robbery of convenience store

Huntsville OPP have made an arrest after a daytime robbery of a convenience store last week.

On March 23 at 8:20 a.m., officers responded to a robbery where a man, wearing a balaclava, entered a convenience store on Main St. East in Huntsville and demanded cash. Police arrived in the area and by 11:30 were able to identify and arrest the suspect.

Aron Lamoureux, 38, of Huntsville was arrested and charged with:  

  • Robbery with theft
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Two counts of theft under $5,000

Lamoureux was held for bail and released on a release order.   

A week earlier Lamoureux had been arrested regarding a suspicious man trying to return stolen beer kegs to a local brewery. Huntsville OPP officers laid multiple charges following that investigation
