The men and women who have served our country in conflict have once again been memorialized through the ongoing research conducted by an area man. Hours upon hours of research and a passion for history has produced a second edition of the North Bay Area War Veterans Honour Roll. The Honour Roll lists all War Veterans from the Area and ensures that the young men and women from our area will not be forgotten.

The contents of the War Veterans Book includes the names of all known Veterans from the North Bay Area of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries who served our Country and special pages dedicated to those who died. Mr. Nicholson has a great deal of experience with the importance of memorializing North Bay’s veterans as a founding member of Project Flanders, dedicated to caring after all of North Bay’s Veterans parks. The public is welcome to join Mr. Nicholson in the presentation of his latest volume at Discovery North Bay Museum.

Author and researcher Ed Nicholson C.D., will be on hand at Discovery North Bay at 10am on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 to distribute his newly published reference book to representatives from the public library, school boards, Royal Canadian Legions, Veterans Affairs Canada, and Nipissing University. Mr. Nicholson will discuss his research, his new book, North Bay Area War Veterans Honour Roll and the importance of memorializing our local veterans.
