Bill Walton (CGA – retired) is a North Bay author who enjoys commenting on the vagaries of life in his weekly columns for Baytoday. Bill’s hobbies include writing, motorcycling, photography, and golf as well as attending Taoist Tai Chi classes and volunteering with the Warriors of Hope Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing Team. Married to Diana, a retired associate professor of Classical Studies, they have one son, Marcus who lives in Comox and flies for WestJet.
Don Curry has been a leader in local immigration issues for two decades and started Curry Immigration Consulting in 2019. He is a former reporter and editor with a number of newspapers and taught journalism at Canadore College for 10 years before a five-year stint as the college’s public affairs director. He was the co-founder of Young People’s Press and founding executive director of the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre. He has a B.A. from Carleton University, M.A. from Central Michigan University and a certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia
