Overview:
• Permanent Full-Time
• 12-hour Rotating Shift Schedule
• Base Rate: $21.39/hour
• Evening Shift Premium, Night Shift Premium, Sunday Shift Premium

Berry – Fabrene Inc. is a leader in the manufacturing of woven Polyolefin materials for a wide variety of building, protective, and packaging products. The North Bay, Ontario plant operates 24/7 and involves a variety of extrusion, plastic and textile processing equipment.

PRODUCTION OPERATORS are self-motivated and hard workers who perform various tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production, inspection of products and packaging needs throughout the facility. Production Operators will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and excellent attendance.

Qualifications:
• must be 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada
• minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
• basic computer skills
• mathematical and mechanical reasoning
• safety orientated with a continuous improvement mindset
• ability to troubleshoot, multi-task and prioritize effectively
• positive attitude, reliable, motivated, good organizational skills, strong communication skills and strong attendance record
• ability to lift, repetitively, up to 50 lbs.
• ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• experience with shift work and/or manufacturing will be considered an asset
