LAIRD, Colette (nee Latulippe) – Of North Bay, passed away after a little over a year at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Tuesday, May 7 2024, in her 93rd year.

Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Laird, who passed away in 2003. Loved mother of Jim (Sylvio) of Saint Georges de Beauce, Kim of Guelph, Kris of North Bay, Dave (Nesi) of Ajax and Jack of Guelph, and grandmother of Chelsea and Michael. The only daughter of Hector and Aurore Latulippe, she was predeceased by her five brothers; Maurice (Madeleine), Gerald (Irene), Laurent (Therese), Donald (Germaine) and Roger.

Colette was a woman of strong faith, a member of the Catholic Womens’ League, an active volunteer and supporter of numerous charities. She was also an avid gardener, bridge player, and enjoyed traveling, especially to visit with her children and grandkids. She was a survivor of an earlier cancer diagnosis and expanded her already wide circle of friends through a local cancer survivors’ group in North Bay.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a future date in North Bay.
